LOANS AND GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR COLLEGE PROGRAMS

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

You may qualify for low interest federal loans and grants that would assist with college tuition for programs such as Utah Valley State College to complete the aviation two-year Associates Degree and the four-year Bachelor of Science Degree. Sometimes additional money beyond the amount necessary for tuition may be applied to your flight training. Online application to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( fafsa.ed.gov) website will allow you to apply. The process may take an extensive period of time and money is dispersed on need and first-come first-serve basis, generally starting at the first of each year for later terms. Application and enrollment in the Utah Valley State College program are necessary to have the money dispersed to the college. Students must carry a half-time student credit load to defer the loans. Enrollment into the Wings of the Cascades FAA Part 141 flight school may continue to defer the loans on an individual basis.
